It’s Not Too Late, and Other Lessons Learned in Writing and Publishing Fiction

In this program, award-winning mystery/thriller writer Joseph LeValley will discuss his path to becoming a successful novelist and lessons he has learned along the way regarding writing and publishing fiction. As a former journalist, LeValley will discuss some of the actual crimes he covered as a reporter, and how they inspired him to write his first novel.

LeValley now has published five novels that have sold in every state of the U.S. and in seven foreign countries. He has finished writing his sixth, which releases this fall, and is working on his seventh. He is a popular public speaker and works hard to make his programs interesting and fun.

LeValley welcomes questions from participants and will tailor the discussion to the interests of the audience. Likely topics covered will include tips and tricks to help you write a compelling novel, navigating the complex world of publishing, the essentials of marketing your work, and some of the weird and wonderful things that have happened to him as a novelist.
