Recycled Newspaper Planter Workshop (ages 16+, children welcome if accompanied by a parent or guardian)

Do you like playing in the dirt? Would you like to be “crafty” for an evening and create a planter pot to take home? Join us for this gardening event in which we’ll all create a planter pot out of newspaper, fill them with dirt, and plant a basil or marigold seedling. These planter pots are biodegradable, so you can simply plant them in your garden or into a container to enjoy all summer long. There is no cost, and everyone will leave with a plant to take home.
